In a beautiful 1896 residence, commonly called Le Château d’Arfeuilles because it was the most imposing house in the village, we have created 5 charming guest rooms and a gîte for 4 to 6 people in the adjoining caretaker’s house. You can enjoy our table d’hôtes, but also the swimming pool from May to September, the Nordic bath during the cooler seasons… Take a nap in a hammock suspended in the century-old cedar. Go hiking in the Bourbonnais mountains, because the estate is bordered by a long-distance hiking trail, the GR3. Play a game of ping-pong. Enjoy the calm of the town of Arfeuilles located near Lapalisse and its castle, Saint-Clément and its lake, Châtel Montagne and its Romanesque church; of Vichy, a city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, its racecourse, its golf course, its thermal baths, its greenway, its landscaped banks… Treat yourself to a moment of peace and quiet. Let yourself be guided.

Want to escape and discover, treat yourself to a break in the heart of the Montagne Bourbonnaise. Christine and Pascal will be delighted to welcome you to their independent cottage with shared swimming pool! This cottage adjoining the main house, is the former caretaker’s house, ideal for 4 (winter) and for 6 (summer), with in addition 2 extra beds: a wrought iron bed for one person and a cabin-style bed for a child (max 145cm). On the ground floor: a bedroom (rented only in summer) full of charm, stone wall, 140 * 190 bed, hammock chair and direct access to the swimming pool (shared … is open in summer), a bathroom with shower / separate toilet, a living / dining room overlooking the park, a kitchen opening onto your private terrace with century-old trees. Available, armchairs, barbecue, fire pit, hammock, a kiosk with benches suitable for reading, meditation… under the trees. The enclosed grounds communicate with the park of the estate. Upstairs, via the slightly steep staircase, a walk-through bedroom with a 160*200 trundle bed and a cabin bed, a 2nd bedroom with a bohemian spirit, accessible by the 1st bedroom, with a 180×200 bed and a single wrought iron bed. A Nordic bath is at your disposal (package of 30€/hour for 6 people). The swimming pool shared with the owners is open from May 1st to September 30th. A gym is available with some equipment. This place is ideal for hiking (the house is bordered by the GR3), road biking, mountain biking. Things to do: treetop adventure course in Saint Clément with a lake, PAL 45 minutes away, the town of Vichy 30 minutes away, the Billy fortress…
